Every time I open Firefox it crashes after a few seconds. I tired updating to the new browser and it still crashes. I am operating on OS X 10.5.8

Hello hockeyboi7,

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Firefox installation, but I think that uninstalling Firefox and making a clean install might very well resolve it. Firefox can sometimes experience corruption during upgrades and you should therefore try reinstalling it when you experience issues like this one.

Thank you for your patience and please let me know how it goes. If this resolved your issue, please mark this answer as a solution.

Try to disable hardware acceleration (HWA) in Firefox (Advanced > General). Reboot Firefox and make a try.
