Hi - I do contests only and update a couple of sub folders I have (IE: Daily Contests, Weekly Contests, 24HR Contests) and I use two different computers. I do not want to back up all my favorites each time. What I want to do, is only back up those specific folders and copy only those specific folders to the other PC. I can do this in IE with no problem. I assume that I can do that in FF as well?

Hi, export as a html file (you know how), then open it in a html editor, then find the folders you want inside it, delete the others and save the file, then import the html file to firefox. Difficult ?

thank you

Hi, I tried Notepad and Word and the bookmarks are all garbled. If I get an editor that will work, how can I import just one folder into FF?

You can use a HTML capable editor and copy and paste the bookmarks folder(s) or bookmarks from the Library window in the editor window.

Did you export the bookmarks to an HTML file?

Such a HTML backup consists of HTML links in the form of an <a> tag.
