I'm trying to update my add-ons. Every time I go to the add-on update page, it starts assessing what add-ons need updated--but then it gives me the error message--"Plugin Finding Service Error". I know my shockwave needs updated, but when I click "Update Now", it goes to the assessment page, checks for a while, and then gives me that error message.

Make sure that you aren't blocking JavaScript.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
