I have a notepad file that comes up about half the full, maximized window size. I have tried "stretching" it to maximum and then closing the file. However it doesn't fix it. How can I make it maximize by default when I open it?

Hi,

You can try to manually stretch it from the corners to save the size. The Windows forum would be helpful.

Thanks for your reply. Right before I read your reply, I saw the same solution on a Windows help site. You are right...doing it from the corners (instead of the height and width separately) works! Thanks again for responding.
