The security procedures for detecting attack sites and forgeries are not perfect. You should not turn of the security because it has detected a problem !
They often do not detect things, when they should do. In my opinion you should still have them turned on by checking the boxes in the security preferences. If they do detect something you should take care and assume the report really has found a potential problem. You may have some sort of adware or malware that is redirecting your searches.
I had the same problem today. Was partly solved by disactivating a web.de mail toolbar (which I didn't use, but found it was active). Could navigate to any desired site afterwards. What remained is the title chrome //unitedtb/content/newtab/newtab-page.xhtml instead of just "new tab" on, guess where, new tabs. Like Fuchs I don't have Chrome installed. Seems a bit fishy to me this issue... Any idea what this is and how it can be solved?
