Firefox for Android doesn't use a traditional toolbar with tabs. Instead it uses either hardware or on screen settings buttons, which usually is 3 lines or 3 dots and it uses a tabs menu represented with numbers. There you can manage your settings and tabs.

To manage bookmarks select your awesome bar then select your bookmarks tab. Once that tab is selected long press (tab and hold) any bookmark you wish to remove and then select remove on the menu that pops up.
