Disable PDF printing

more options

Greetings to everyone!

I would like to disable printing, saving of pdf files on the intranet. Files are displayed in the browser. In the old version of Mozilla Firefox this solution worked:

"<object data="path/Filename.pdf#toolbar=0&navpanes=0" type="application/pdf" width=90% height=700>"

The toolbar disabling does not work in Firefox 19, the toolbar is appearing. How can I disable it again?

Thanks.

You can downgrade to version 18.0.2 - the current version uses PDF.js where pdfs show automatically.

The PDF viewer introduced in Firefox 19 doesn't support all of the features of the Acrobat plugin. You could encourage users to switch back, but this isn't something you could easily "push" using centralized management tools.
