My understanding of the 'privat browsing' e-mail, was that if I told the privacy option not to remember history, the (Private Browsing) lable would not show.

I just updated to 20, but my firefox never had the purple mask. I have read the e-mail plus the link, and understood that when I told 'privacy' to 'always', that the page title line would not show (Private Browsing). Did I misunderstand? or is there a way not to display that label? Thanks, Billl@embarqmail.com

It seems that I am unable to change any of my privacy settings; I can't tell it to not save history, or any of the cookie options. If I check 'Always use private browsing mode, I get the notation at the top of the frame (Private Browsing) If I choose 'Never remember history', instead, and restart Firefox (no message to do so) it always restored to 'Use custom....', and the notation remains... I can choose or not, 'Tell not to track', and at the bottom, recommend option, and they will change, but none of the 'history' options will Billl
