Hi I am having trouble with some shopping websites. eg Clarks.co.uk, George.com. When I click on the product, all the information that is usually there are there but the the sizes and quantity are missing, so that I can't add the product to the basket. In addition, there is a spinning wheel on the clarks homepage which fails to load. This problem does not occur on other webpages. This problem also occurs on IE browser. I have checked for malware and found some infected cookies, which has now been deleted, but still the problem persists. I have also tried deleting cookies and clearing cache, reinstalling Firefox, but to no avail. Can you help?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
