when i want to see facebook or twitter i see this error: "ssl_error_rx_record_too_long". i need to use proxy so i can't change my setting to no proxy. it seems my firefox have problem with https this site work fine with chrome and IE

This usually happens if SSL isn't installed properly on the server.
If it isn't possible to use another proxy then try to contact the maintainer of this proxy for advice.

Does it help if you add the port number (:443) to the link?

When I have added the intermediate certificate at the server side (apache SSLCertificateChainFile) the problem solved.

So please check the server certificate chain in your browser at the lock sign. If it has intermediate certificate between server cert and CA you should think that the server did not configured properly.
