In trying to download something that is large over a slow connection, it indicates that it will take 3 or 4 hours. However, the download times out after about 2 hours. How do I change the download timeout setting so that it will go for at least 4 hours? Running Firefox 24.0

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is possible. I suggest trying DownThemAll! which is a download manager add-on. It provides more control than the default download manager.

I hope this helps. Let me know if not.
