Browser reverts to previously viewed web pages

I'm using the Firefox app on my Nexus 7. If I have multiple tabs up and switch to a different app or go to the home screen, then go back to the browser, more than half the time one or more of my tabs will have reverted to an earlier viewed page. I cannot get back to the right page by hitting the back or forward buttons, and the lost page doesn't show up in my recent history. Tabs will seem to get stuck on a random page, and will keep reverting back to that same page until the tab is closed.

Try to reinstall the app again.

And also please check under Tools what is the status of the 'Private Browsing' ?

Hi Irlandaise, VSSKANAND is asking the right questions because there are some existing issues that load the wrong tab in Reading mode. In order to check you can launch the browser in debugging mode.

These are pretty good instructions how to debug the firefox for android: https://hacks.mozilla.org/2012/08/remote-debugging-on-firefox-for-andr...

However, if you update to Firefox 26 does this still happen? If we can find out when it started happening finding where is started happening ?

I had it set to automatically update, but I went and manually updated just in case. I'll see if it helps, but it might take a few days because it doesn't always lose the tabs.

I'll reinstall the app if I have to, but I haven't figured out a good way to save my bookmarks, so I've been putting it off.

VSSKANAND, I don't see 'Private Browsing' listed under tools?

Thanks for the ideas!

VSSKANAND was thinking of desktop Firefox and not mobile Firefox. It should be apparent if you are in Private browsing mode in that tab or not.
