When I try to answer e-mail since this afternoon I get the message 5.7.1 Authorization required and my answer won't send. What can I do? I can send e-mail responses if I use my e-mail address directly (not using Thunderbird)

I5t sounds like your account settings have been changed by your mail provider, and they perhaps forgot to tell you the new settings.

Have a look at Tools menu (alt+t) > account settings > outgoing server (SMTP) and check your settings are as described by your mail provider, particularly the password and SSL settings.
