I keep getting tabs that I don't want, some started appearing over a year ago and keeps returning. Clicking on the delete (X) symbol does not work because they keep coming back. I would like to learn how to eliminate them permanently.

Please update to Firefox 28 Update Firefox to the latest release and then Reset Firefox Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
