FF freezes every time I try to watch a video, then the box says that my flash player plug-in failed. I've tried EVERYTHING in the suggestions! Now what?

Every time I try to watch a video, Firefox freezes, then after minute it unfreezes and the video box tells me that my flash player plug in has failed. I have completely uninstalled Adobe and reinstalled the latest version. I know that my plug-in is correctly on "always activated." I've unchecked "use hardwire acceleration when available." Nothing is working. What should I try next??
