When I try to download Firefox version 29 the file either says that it's corrupted or during the downloading and installing it tells me that it has been interrupted.. I there any way to fix this?

Try restart your computer in safe mode:

Then try install Firefox.

Another possibility is to open the Mozilla FTP website in Windows Explorer and download the Firefox set up file that way.

Firefox is a 32 bit application, so make sure that you have the 32 bit Java version installed.
