Dear Team,

     Thank you,For the last 12 to 10 months, my channel, JONI VCD and JONI  VCD Center have had no one else in charge. 
I was by myself.  After the JONI VCD center hack, someone I know worked with Anydesk for a while.

My desktop still shows strange things from time to time, for example:- Desktop suddenly stops working.  Looks like someone else is running deskstop.  So you have to give new windows.  Tell me if you need any proof of my Deskstop.  They must also provide windows, otherwise, there may be problems.

Every time I try to go onto any site, I'm asked to solve a puzzle by sliding the missing piece onto it's spot. Every time I'm blocked from these sites.

What can I do to fix this?

I take a lot of screenshots using Firefox's built in screenshot tool to share with my friends. After a while it slows down my Photos folder and I move them elsewhere. However, I cannot move, delete, or even rename any of the 18 photos shown in the photo below. They are all from Twitter/X, but this error does not apply to every screenshot from Twitter - I was able to move or delete most of them. However, it is ONLY happening with photos from Twitter. They are not Read Only so I don't know what the issue is. I'm not having this issue with Windows Snip tool, only Firefox Screenshots.

I am attempting to configure the "Simple Tab Groups" extension (having failed to get any help working with the more complicated Sideberry). Following instructions in firefox's "How to use Containers" article: viz: Enable Firefox containers

 " Click the menu button  and select Settings.
   In the General panel, scroll down to the Tabs section.
   Make sure the box next to Enable Container Tabs is checked. "

The "enable Container Tabs" is at the end of the list and is paler type with the box appearing checked; clicking it does not change it. Does that mean it is already self-enabled so that I cannot click it ? This might seem a stupid question but, I am only trying to follow directions! (Now you see why, without directions, I couldn't set up Sideberry. GitHub people wouldn't even answer my questions. I'm not a coder.

Firefox shows messages like Secure connection failed and the connection has timed out. When I restart my computer it works one time then when I close firefox it does not work again. Then some website but not the greatest conglomerates do not load or work. Can you help me? Thanks wade

So firefox randomly crashes. It briefly shows "Gah! Your tab has crashed" before it closes. There is no crash log, and when you open it up again it asks if I want to restore tabs and if you say yes, they all come back just as they were.

There is no particular website it crashes on, nor a particular time. Sometimes it's when I'm surfing, sometimes when it's just sitting there open. Sometimes it crashes after a minute, sometimes it crashes after 2 hours.

Yes, it does it in safe mode. Yes, I've rebooted, and reinstalled, and tried old versions. Yes, I've even reinstalled windows. Yes, I've updated all drivers and so on. I've also increased the memory allotment, and several other suggestions I found on google.

So, odd things that might help you diagnose it: when it comes back on, the volume of an in-tab player is usually, if not always, muted (not the computer, just the firefox media player - netflix, youtube, etc).

Also, I've owned this computer for 4 years and it's been a problem from the beginning; BUT I found a way to fix it. I just... can't remember what it was. Then about 6 months ago I had to send it in for repair and they wiped windows and I lost everything, since then it's crashing again.

I remember that my fix involved some fix or hack that made a *Second* set of min/max/close buttons in the top-right corner. So the normal sized ones, then a half-sized set above them. Does anyone know what I might have done to have that? Because as long as it was that way, it never crashed.

Failing that, is there a way to force firefox to create a log? Because it's not technically crashing, from it's perspective; a "tab" crashes (all tabs, actually) and then the program closes by default. But firefox itself seems to think it's not crashing so it makes no log.

I'm desperate: going to ask at a forum is worse than going to the second page of google. Thanks

When I download a PDF and attempt to Save It, it now asks "Save Full Page" or "Save Visible"... It did not do that in the past. In the past I was able to save a PDF and Name and Save it without having to select the above options.

I use Firefox on a Dell Windows laptop. I used to be able to drag pinned bookmarks from my toolbar to the sidebar in the toolbar customization page; now, I can't. What's changed, and how do I move them now?

This morning I experienced three new things, so I don't know if they are related to the latest update. 1 - My bookmarks were incomplete but I restarted and all of them appear to be restored. 2 - The shield in my toolbar related to trackers was previously always blue and sometimes I had to turn off enhanced browser tracking for websites to appear and function - as with placing orders. Now it is not blue on any site I visit. 3 - There are so many ads now on every page I visit where there were previously none yesterday. Is this related to the time change in most US States? I checked all my settings for ads and privacy and nothing has changed, but these annoying ads are now everywhere. I will add one more issue: the annoying pop up on every page asking me to sign into a google account. I have read the troubleshooting solution but it is for versions of Firefox that existed years ago. Please provide a current solution for the current version of Firefox please.

well this is my question if I create an account and install fire fox on a different computer as the computer I am on is kaput will I recover all my info sites usernames & passwords on the new computer

why can I customize the tool bar on 1 computer and it stays that way every time I open fire fox but on another computer I have to constantly customize it as I all tools to the tool bar but they constantly disappear when I reopen fire fox and have to constantly move your pointless logo to overflow as it is worthless to me

The latest version destroyed my browsing history and all of my opened tabs are gone! The currently shown history is not of my laptop but from my desktop and my phone. I lost all of my laptop history. How can I restore them? Are the backups not affected by the new version and where can I find them?

Why do graphic images (i.e. buttons, etc) not display correctly on my Windows 11 computer but the same site will show correctly on my Windows 10 computer using FF? Also, why on Windows 11 do the images not show up using FF but do when I use Chrome or Edge? Please advise - DKelly

Hi, there are several threads with my problem, but none of the solutions worked. Here the problem:

I use VPN for a certain database. The site requires authentication, even within vpn, which is not bad. Authentication happens through a small popup window. Each and every time I enter my credentials, Firefox springs back to this stage until my account is locked. Edge or Chrome do not have this problem. I use MS Edge under Linux, only for this one website. I already tried disabling my extension, cleaning my cookies, starting login on a freshly installed Firefox, nothing helped.

I would appreciate any hint not related to the steps already mentioned.

A few versions ago (donʼt know exact one) a new effect appeared: when pressing right mouse button on an element to get its menu (standard Firefox menu, not overridden by the page), if mouse cursor position is over a popup menu item, this item is immediately selected on mouse _release_ button.

In most cases the context menu popups right to the mouse position and this causes no effect. But if there is no place to right (the selected element is near right screen margin), a menu item appears under the cursor and, as stated above, is selected. It is unpredictable what item will be selected.

This is rather controllable (although annoying) with real mouse but uncontrollable with touchpad, as on most laptops.

Please suggest how to disable reaction on the mouse button release.
