I'm tired of trying to find a solution to this problem, you're deaf!
I have been using Firefox since 2003. to avoid writing unnecessary words, I will simply state, I will leave firefox if you do not eliminate this problem:
firefox eats up all the RAM on my Mac. It is none of your business whether I open 1 tab or 10 tabs, give me the ability to limit the memory used by firefox, otherwise it eats up all the computer's memory.
I noticed that my bookmarks in my mobile browser are completely out of order since the last update. Is there anyway to reorder the bookmarks?
Thanks

For my business profile on Google, there is an option to generate and share a link to clients that allows them, with one tap, to navigate to the page for writing a Google Review.
I hyperlinked this url into some text and a png of a thumbs up icon in the body of an email in Gmail.
On Firefox Desktop (and other browsers including mobile Samsung Internet), there's no problem. The link takes me right to the page.
On mobile, the link throws a 404 error.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 Android 14 Firefox Version 133.0.3 Cleared cache Does not work in private tabs either
Here are those details:

I've reached out to Google for help, but they simply told me to use other browsers. Since I can't control which browsers my clients use, and because I want this to be as easy and direct as possible, I have settled to include instructions in the email for Firefox users to click on a hyperlink that takes them to the business page, rather than the review-writing page directly, for now.
In the meantime, does anyone know what's going on here and how to resolve this issue?
Thanks very much. Jake

I asked this a year ago and never saw a solution (other than 'gee, it should work yet'.) I use the local Windows Hosts file to give my router a quick reference name to get into it. That too has worked for years but began to fail last year. Inconvenient. The best I could track this down, it has something to do with forced DNS lookups and skipping the old Hosts file. If so, any work around to get my system simplicity back? Attached is what I see on each attempt.
I tried various settings for DOH and nothing works. I can reference the Hosts file in a Windows Cmd Prompt and it resolves just fine. Something is screwy in Firefox for some time now and I'd like to know what.

Dear Firefox Team,
It has re-occurred to my Firefox Browser of the latest version of 115.18.0 with some websites I have recently visited however which has appeared 8 grids of blank or white pages again under "Recent Activity" as attached with the image for your technical troubleshooting suggestion.
Those 8 grids of Recent Activity in the older version of Firefox browsers used to have shown colorful graphics or images representative of the recent websites I visited in the recent past.
May I know what I am supposed to do to recover those graphics or images?
Kindly offer any suggestion or solution?
Thank you for your kind attention.
Best regards,
Mr. Topaz Chiu

Hi,
So over the past month I have had trouble making google search my preferred option for my home page and new page default in Firefox. I have the latest version of windows and Firefox but when I open a new Firefox browsing session it loads the Firefox homepage not the google search page, similarly when I open a new tab. There was no issue accessing websites on my bookmark bar
The homepage issue seems to have been because the DNS was pushing to the wrong IP address for https://google.co.uk (something raised in a different post with a similar issue) I I fixed the homepage issue by entering the correct IP in the browser, google search opened immediately, I then then saved the page as a bookmark and in the Home settings chose use bookmarked page for home and new page and chose the saved google search bookmark (see attached screenshot)
However when I open a new tab it defaults to the the Firefox homepage not google search? If I click on the home button the google search page appears. My question is why is Firefox not following the settings I set for homepage and new tab setting and how can I fix this?
I have tried resetting firefox made no difference. I do not think this an antivirus problem since there is no problem access google search as the homepage only on a new tab further if I click the home button when on a new tab google search pops up immediately

After I upgraded my system (NixOS) from 23.05 to 24.11, both Firefox and Thunderbird experience a 30 second delay between doing right click and the context menu appearing.
After clicking on a menu option, there is another 30 second delay before the menu disappears and the action is carried out.
Happens also in safe mode, and after deleting the .mozilla directory and starting from scratch.
No other GUI on the system (including non-gecko browsers) are affected.
Firefox version is 133.0.3

Hi & Happy New Year,
OS: Windows 11 Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Display: LG 27GN950 Firefox: 133.0.3 (64-bit)
When I wake my monitor from power save mode Firefox has shrunk in size. I usually have my Firefox window sized at something like 2200 x 1900 pixels. Whenever the monitor wakes from power save mode the window has been resized to 1011 x 712.
Any suggestions for troubleshooting?
Thanks.

Everything was completely fine, then I left for a week to go on vacation. After I came back I tried to log into youtube, and I got a 400 error. After the failed attempt to log in, now I can't go to any pages on any site, including youtube which I was just on. If I try to load a page, it just stops instantly. If it goes past that, it just says that firefox can't connect to that server. I went into my cache and made sure that cookies were all cleared, and even went into my firefox profile to see if there was anything and there isn't. I tried restarting firefox, and my computer, neither helped. Firefox is completely bricked right now and I have no idea why. I hate that I even had to boot up chrome to type this out.
