Download Fireftp issues after restarting not downloaded
Something is wrong. I downloaded FireFTP and even donated $10. It says to restart and I did but FireFTP doesn't download and add to firefox. Please HELP. Need to get my website up and running.

Did you install from this page: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/fireftp/
What should happen is you see a green button that says Add to Firefox, you click that, and Firefox displays a dialog for you to confirm you want to install it.
After that, and you restart Firefox, you can find FireFTP on the menu here:
- "3-bar" menu button > Developer > FireFTP
- (menu bar) Tools > Web Developer > FireFTP
If you go into the Customize panel, you will find an icon to place on the toolbar if that's more convenient. This article has the steps for customizing: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
Does it show up any of those places?

I did exactly what you said. It restarts and goes back to the page that say download and restart. Happens over and over. When I go to my finder while using firefox the computer can't find FireFTP anywhere. I tried it at least 10 times. Beyond frustrating. I'm in a web development class and can't proceed until I resolve this.
I even donated the $10 requested for the FireFTP
FireFTP 2.0.20 shows as an installed extension in the System Details list, so you should find it in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
You can find FireFTP in Tools > Web Developer or in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list in the Developer menu list.
There is a FireFTP button in the Customize palette that you can drag on a toolbar.
- "3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize
- View > Toolbars > Customize

FireFTP is a Firefox add-on. You will not find it in Finder. You will find it on the Firefox menus I mentioned in my earlier post.
