Recently when I surf to www.walmart.com Firefox freezes or hangs. I have to force quite Firefox and use IE to access walmart.

This was never a problem before.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pin- pointing a problem is always a good start.

1. Do you have any themes, add-ons/extensions? Try using your default Firefox theme, disable all add-ons/extensions, and enter the site again.

2. Is your Firefox browser up to date? You can try checking for updates or download them manually from the site.

3.Does this problem occur on any other sites as well?

4.Have you tried reinstalling Firefox?

1- no themes, add-on/extensions disabled

2 - v35.0.1 the latest

3 - no other sites that I have found but it happens on at least 5 other computers that I am aware of.

4 - no on the re-install as this happens on multiple computers.

That means an add-on or one of your settings is the issue.

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.

Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is detective
