issue has caused me to have to repeatedly power down and power back on my wireless networking to access multiple website such as facebook via firefox and the like. it's growing tiresome. all started after I in a bit of a tired state refreshed browser. site give me no such issues on other web browsers. even ended up uninstalling and reinstalling firefox and problem persists.

hello, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a solution depends on the individual circumstances:

  • what is the error code shown when you click on advanced on that error page?
  • please also give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum.

thank you!

Would usertesting from usertesting.com qualify as suspicious. my computer is running windows 10

What do you mean with usertesting ?

Is that something that appears in the Windows Control Panel ?

That could very well be possible if you do not remember that you installed this software yourself.

You can do a Google search for software that you aren't sure of to see what it is about.
