Why do away with ALL addons, including Indie?
I LOVED Firefox, not just because it was faster than Explorer, but also more versatile than Chrome. You're support of Indie (and, thus, the little guy) was on par with what I dreamed of in a browser. It made things easier for me, being able to access Flash on -demand (Which, btw, killing it kills 90% of all indie games and projects, and makes college projects now need a Computer Scientist to complete, thanks for making it 1000000x harder for people who are struggling in college to do memorable projects for classes to now have to hire a whole programming crew), or being able to use certain tools to get into certain websites, proxies, or VPNs without a special program, now if people are in repressed countries want a proper internet experience, they have to risk downloading programs that could jeopardize themselves or their systems, and other add-ons that small companies use to make thing easier for their employees are now having to scramble to find Big Corporation products at a price they can afford. Add-ons were great, add-ons made some things easier, while making others things harder (Like, lets say, infecting your computer by using malicious ads.) Your Malware domain blocker, while a great idea, is sadly a crap-shoot, as I have had some business sites flagged for being malicious, while known malicious sites go right on through. Community driven has always been better, don't believe me? Look at Avast, Mawarebytes, Combofix, HijackThis, the list goes on and on. I have cleaned more computers with community based options than I have with Big Corp. options. I will now be looking for a browser that meets me and my company's needs, while also meeting my needs for Flash capabilities, since you have caved in to Big Brother, and decided that Indie Developers need to die in a fire screaming. Have fun with killing Innovation.
