Hi,

Firefox requested I rest my browser to default. I did this and it has caused a major issue. All my passwords were saved in a master password in firefox and they have all been lost. Plus I cannot create a master password in firefox as it will not allow me to now. I need to get this back to how it was. Thanks.

You can try to copy these two files from the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop to the current profile folder with Firefox closed.

  • logins.json and key3.db

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
