I drag the photos off and have to add JPG to them for them to open. I saw this was another persons problem with no reply. How can I fix it so I can drag photos of the web and not have to manually add the .JPG?

This is a known bug on Mac OSX

  • bug 1389836 - Saving images via drag-and-drop loses filename extension
