How do I get the printer to print headers and footers for web pages?
Headers and footers for web pages printed normally until recently. On the printer's header and footer settings, the header includes document title and URL, and the footer includes page # of # and date/time. The screen showing the document as it will be printed shows headers and footers. However, recently the printer started printing headers and footers at the extreme top and bottom of the page, such that only a very narrow band of each appears at the edge of the page and is unreadable. What do I need to do to restore the printing of headers and footers to be readable? I have Firefox 63.0.3 running on Windows 7.

Hi hostba, could you check the Page Setup dialog? There's button for it on the Print Preview toolbar, and it's also on the File menu (you can access the File menu from the menu bar, tap Alt or F10 if you don't normally display that bar).
If the Page Setup document already shows that various bits of data are supposed to print in the header/footer and it does not, another possibility is that it is in an "unprintable" area. This is a little bit more challenging to modify, but you can block out some space around the edges of the page so Firefox doesn't place the headers and footers there:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste edge and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the print.printer_BrandX.print_edge_top preference and enter your desired distance in hundreds of an inch (assuming you use inch measurements). For example:
- 10 => 1/10 inch
- 25 => 1/4 inch
In a different tab, use print preview to test that there is now that amount of space between the top edge of the paper and the page title.
(4) Repeat for the print.printer_BrandX.print_edge_bottom, print.printer_BrandX.print_edge_left , and print.printer_BrandX.print_edge_right preferences.
If the edge preferences do not exist, or to hedge your bets, you can set the print.printer_BrandX.print_unwriteable_margin_bottom, print.printer_BrandX.print_unwriteable_margin_left , print.printer_BrandX.print_unwriteable_margin_right, and print.printer_BrandX.print_unwriteable_margin_top preferences similarly.
Success?

Thanks very much. The directions were simple, and the problem was solved by adjusting the edges in the configuration.
