ERROR: The messages could not be filtered to folder 'XXX' because another operation is in progress.

This seemed to appear once for every messge being downloaded, and TB stopped to wait for input each time. Luckily only 33 msgs...

TB needs to 1) tell me what the other process is 2) allow me to cancel the filtering process & stop the download, so I can fix it.

I have a feeling the problem is that I set up a filter going to the same folder. This filter is not functioning; I'm trying to filter a synchronized IMAC folder to a Local Folder, and that is not working. But I guess is still "running" in the background. So I'll delete the IMAC filter... but the Error message still needs to give more information because I might not have been able to figure it out myself.

I told you yesterday what some of the conditions for filtering were.

It is time to admit your purchase of proton mail was a poor one and move on. You want POP. They do not offer it.

GMX will give you pop mail for free https://www.gmx.com/ I am not sure why you want a paid solution. But if you insist.

Click the app menu and hover your mouse over the > beside the New Message entry. Select get a new mail account. You will be prompted for an email address to search for and will be offered several choices based on your search choice from US$1.99 a year including your own domain name for the email address.
