if you emptied the trash or spam/junk folders, that will not affect the inbox. When it might do temporarily is flood your connection to the mail server with updates and you mail is not displayed until all the deletes have been executed on the server.

Matt: Thank you for your help. My issue was I emptied my Spam folder and somehow by entire InBox was emptied? I was hoping to be able to recover all of my InBox that was deleted in error. I appreciate you taking time to reply to my original posting. I have a feeling that since my InBox was deleted in error I am out of luck as it has been a couple of days since the error happened. P.S. When I say "emptied" I meant to say deleted.

Are you saying you do not have an 'Inbox' folder for that mail account?

Please confirm you have this setting:

• View > Folder > All
