Since updating to 115.7, I'm having intermittent trouble logging in to email using Thunderbird for Windows. When the client loads the little circle arrow spins and then stops with no logon box displaying. Usually that little circle arrow spins for a couple seconds and then the logon box is displayed.

But now, nothing I do will bring up that logon box except rebooting Windows 10. Then the Thunderbird client will load and I can log in. If I quit thunderbird and reload it, then I get no logon box - until I reboot again.

I've attached a screenshot from Devtools debug screen if that helps. I don't know what any of the errors mean, or even if this relates to my problem.

Any ideas?

Intermittent suggests something network related.

You don't mention your mail provider, which is important. If you are using something Microsoft based, change authentication to oauth2

Thanks for replying.

I thought of network related, but all other internet activity is fine; continuous pings, web browsing, VPN (I've disable and enabled the VPN with no difference), etc.

My mail provider is centurytel.net (centurylink). I don't think it is Microsoft base, but here's my setup:

Incoming mail server - pop.centurytel.net port: 995

 Connection security - SSL/TLS
 Auth - Normal password

Outgoing mail server - smtp.centurylink.net port: 587

 Connection security - STARTTLS
 Auth - Normal password

These have worked for years through dozens and dozens up Thunderbird updates. Just started with the latest 115.7.0.
