Firefox hangs when I try to log onto my bankaccounts

When works normalIy until I try to log onto any of my bank accounts. When i click onto thr logon button othing happens, and then Firfox doesn't respond anymore even if I try to go to other sites

Hello Terry G,

please clear your cache and cookies, by following these steps:

  • Open the Tools menu at the top of the Firefox window, select Clear recent history
  • In the Clear recent history window, select Everything from the dropdown list.
  • Click the arrow next to Details once, then check Cache and Cookies.
  • Now, click the Clear now button to clear history.

Hello cor-el, Thanks for your help. Disabling extensions fixed the problem. I had to disbale all Java Console extensions - I have now uninstalled them too. I wonder what functionality I have now lost in Firefox. I really appreciate this facility - thank you - very much appreciated
