When I hit ok on the message, Firefox won't start other than a blank page. When I hit the home button, the home page opens, but i can't search properly. Can you help me?

  1. Switch back to default theme
  2. If you are using McAfee Site Advisor, disable it.
  3. If you are not using McAfee Site Advisor, disable all the extensions and try enabling one by one.

This issue can be caused by the McAfee Site Advisor extension

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

   Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
