"Good-ear.com" used to work fine for me, now when I go to the site I get a faded quicktime plugin sign with a yellow question mark.

An additional window below the address bar will pop up, with the message "Additional plug-ins are required to view all the media on this page."

However, all went perfectly fine before about a month ago when I updated my Quicktime along with iTunes. Tried installing reinstalling Quicktime, did not work.

Need help here, thanks.

Alright, I just tried using IE, turns out IE used Windows Media Player plugin instead and now I can access the site properly.

Thanks!

Sorry about that, just the fourm said you were using 21.

How about a reset.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information such as bookmarks and history. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Hi I appreciate the help you're giving me. Unfortunately I've tried the methods and they do not work. I suspect it's a mistake on Quicktime's part, I've left a message on Apple's board and hopefully I can get a resolution. Meanwhile do you know of any substitute for Quicktime plugin?

Hi, I've uninstalled Quicktime and installed VLC. When I get to the website I get this message. May I know how to rectify this? Thank you.

That is a mid file, so make sure that you have a plugin that can play such files.
