Most of the websites I browse come up in German language format. The title may be in English but the rest of the description is in German. My wife visits German websites to read German newspapers but I do not want everything else to be in German. What is causing this and how do I correct it?

Does your wife use the same Mac user account?

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
