My MacPro is an early 2008 running OS X v.10.9.2. The iMac is a 20-inch, Early 2009 running the same version of OS X. Not a real big problem but when my wife asks me why, I can’t answer and that is a problem.

Hi,

Yours is showing the correct version (27.0), however I cannot speak for your wife's iMac.

We had a similar problem on the forum before and I believe this helped.

Please see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-firefox-outdated-or-incompatible#w_firefox-is-showing-the-wrong-user-agent

If you have Firefox 25.0.1 then your useragent is stuck at the older 3.6.17 version due to the (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) that was added on end at time.

If your wife's useragent looks like this, the above method will work.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.17) Gecko/20110420 Firefox/3.6.17 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

You can have your wife verify if her user agent matches the above by going to http://whatsmyuseragent.com/.

Keep in mind, that you are looking for the ending of the user agent when you go to that site. (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

I hope this helps.
