When I open a website such as maps that automatically show my location, the location is wrong. Always. How do I change it?

If I open maps.google.com or wunderground.com they show my location as the Fort Bragg, CA area. I am more than 100 miles, and because of terrain, 2 hours from this area. My city is also much larger geographically and population. How do I set my location to my city / county and have it default there every time I open a website with a default location on it?

Thank you.

It is possible that your IP address locates you in a different location. You would have to contact your ISP to ask them about this.

You can check how your location is reported via a reverse DNS look up.
