Emails sent from Thunderbird go into the "Sent" folder. Emails from Android phone go into the "Sent Items" folder. MS Outlook sees both, but TB only sees "Sent"

My university runs MS Exchange server. I use MS Outlook on my Univ computer, Thunderbird on my laptop, and exchange email client on my HTC One smartphone running Android.

Thunderbird saves email in "Sent" folder on the server. Android phone saves it on the "Sent items" folder. MS Outlook can see both the folders, but Thunderbird only sees the "Sent" folder.

How can I make Thunderbird see the "Sent items" folder?

assuming you use an IMAP mail account: Tools > Account Settings > Copies & Folders for the mail account

If you want emails saved in 'Sent Items'

select:' Place a copy in' select: 'Other' choose 'Sent Items' on account name' click on OK

To see the 'Sent Items folder you would need to subscribe to see it.

If you have a Pop mail account, it cannot see any folders on the server. It can only download emails from server Inbox to Thunderbird mail account Inbox.
