What is causing Foxfire to launch itself each afternoon or to be launched?

Each afternoon Foxfire launches itself or is launched with the five tabs shown below. This problem has been going on for about a year during which time I have spent more hours than I'd care to admit to try to resolve it.

The problem has persisted through numerous Foxfire updates. I'm running the latest version of Foxfire on Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1.

My guess is that something is causing Foxfire to launch as opposed to Foxfire launching itself. Any ideas?

hi, this looks like an issue that might be caused by adware. please run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & the Junkware Removal Tool.

Some of those tabs were trying to open files on your computer. The others are ads. Please run most or all of the scanners listed in the link in philipp's reply.

Does this still happen if you set another browser as the default browser?
