Firefox 37.0.2 Crashes frequently

Firefox crashes every few minutes. Doesn't matter if I'm watching a video on Youtube or just have a single tab open with Google on it and nothing else happening.

I've tried "safe mode" and it still does it. Here are the last few (a lot are ones I did using a Youtube video as I can get it to crash reliably there, although the last few crashes happened when I was posting this message here).

Here are the last few "About:crashes" links:

These are just a few of them. I have a bout 50 or 60 more if you need them.

This is possibly being caused by Trusteer Raport, do you have that installed on your computer? If so and you don't need it, please remove it, otherwise please contact them for help.

They are a troublesome extension that some banks require you use. It tends to cause problems in Firefox about once a year.

Your crashes are caused by a few different things, so let's try some general troubleshooting to narrow down the cause:

-I've seen no indications of Malware affecting the browser and have run both Windows defender and Malwarebytes Antimalware. -My video card and operating system is fully upgraded to all the most recent versions. -I did a refresh. (It was actually the first thing I did). -I ran in safe mode (still crashed).

As I mentioned, it crashes, even if I'm not using it and nothing but the home page is open (in my case, Google), so while I'm able to replicate the crash through heavy HD Youtube use, it also just crashes when there is no "real" load.

I haven't timed it, but it seems to crash about once every 2- 5 minutes.

Just wanted to see if there was anything else I can do? I've been using Firefox for years and would hate to have to stop using it.

I do have that installed. It was actually a program my bank requested I install to improve the security of online transactions. I will uninstall it and see if that fixes the issue.

You can try the HTML5 media player in YouTube.

You can try to set all plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins" page to check for issues caused by plugins.

Okay, just thought I'd pop back in for an update. The Firefox window has been open for a few hours and and no crash. Looks like Trusteer Raport was the culprit! Thanks a million guys! I was going nuts trying to figure it out!
