Hello

I want to add a new page to my "newtab" page (about>new tab) please see screenshot of the page i am referring to. I have one pinned but I dont know how i managed to get it there. It just appeared, then i could click the pin on the newtab page (top left) of the new page that was added to "new page".

But I want to know how do i get a new web page on the new page in the first place. So then i can pin it.

This support wiki pages, I think it is telling me i should see a bin near the url. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-tab-page-show-hide-and-customize-top-sites

I dont see any such pin. Please see screenshot The page is my amazon search i like to use.

thankyou for your help.

Chosen solution

I think i worked it out.

1) you dont drag and drop "the tab" (e.g. url) but a "link" on the webpage. So I had to navigate up one level of my desired webpage

2) then on mac (yosemite 10.2.2.) , command click the "desired link", you want to put on your newpage, and drag to the new tab and drop.

3) You can drop in between or the last one. You cannot drop and miss a space.
