When I copy text from the most sources (sms, notes, Firefox pages) into Firefox text fields (e.g. blog update page http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml) all end-of-line characters misses and text becomes one paragraph. If multiple empty lines were in source, there is no even whitespace in copied text at that place.

Uses Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, Android 4.4.2, Firefox for Android 40.0.

Is there an option to copy the text from the clipboard instead?

Of course I pasted copied text from clipboard, but... I did it with keyboard shortcut (dodol keyboard). When I tapped system paste-button all worked correctly. Thanks for tip!
