Do you have a soft search like in Outlook. In outlook if i enter some email name by clicking in the Inbox emails, it will take me to that email sender by default. For example if i enter Anderson it will take me to the email from Anderson in my inbox. Here in Thunderbird if i enter A itself its storing the email in archived list. Do you a Add-on to enable a search like in outlook.

No, but we have several searches and filters. Global Search, QuickFilter and ctrl+shift+f.

Keypresses are reserved in Thunderbird for actions such a A for Archive, j for Mark As Junk, and so on. You need to break the habit of typing to search.
