I recently reinstalled Firefox. Ever since whenever I go fullscreen the toolbars never disappear, therefore it is not really fullscreen. I have the "hide toolbars" option selected so I don't understand what's happening. Very frustrating. Please help.

Ok Cor-el, thank you for the response and linking me to that add on which I will surely check out.

What I don't understand is why this only started happening after I reinstalled Firefox. I was able to go fullscreen with no toolbar before, so in some sense your response seems inadequate because how could it be a Mac platform problem when the platform handled such tasks previously?

Also, how can Chrome go fullscreen with no toolbar but Firefox can't?
