The displayed page is shifted upwards so that I can't see the top of any page, it also means that I have to click below where a link is displayed to hit it.

Hi

Is this issue only happening with Firefox for Android, or are you witnessing similar issues with other applications on your device?

This could be a hardware issue tat you will need to contact the manufactures support pages for assistance.

It's only firefox for andriod, no other apps (including 3 other browsers) are effected. I've noticed that slow-loading pages look correct at first and then the upward shift happens when it has finished loading completely
