Browser version for mozilla firefox is 45.0.1. More than 3 GB downloads everyday from URL "http://download.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/firefox/releases/43.0.1/update/win32/en-US/firefox-43.0.1.complete.mar"

Does Firefox takes daily updates of 3GB approximately? This consuming my bandwidth.

This lists what Firefox normally tries to do automatically

I see no reason anything approaching 3GB a day would be downloaded from Mozilla.

Possibly something is going wrong with the updating & maybe Firefox is repeatedly restarting. This old article explains how to clear incomplete updates. That may solve the problem.
