Firefox crashes immediatly on startup and unable to do ANYTHING
I recently got a brand new Dell (from Dell) and I installed the most recent version of FIrefox (46) and as soon as I doubleclick the icon it crashes. I can't open in safemode nor can I refresh firefox. I can't open it AT ALL, so I'm unable to o anything with the graphics accelerator.
I then uninstalled Firefox and tried installing again after a reboot. Same issue.
I then installed a clean version of Windows (7 pro) thinking that maybe there was something in Dell's default install that may be the problem.
After the new Windows install the first thing I installed after my antivirus software was Firefox. Same issues. Crashes as soon as it opens. I can't even open the "about:crashes" page. I looked in the "Crash Reports" folder and got these IDs:
Crash ID: bp-1fe81a02-9607-4525-9e09-1f4832160506 Crash ID: bp-2d37139a-e467-4ccb-8dd4-56fbd2160506 Crash ID: bp-007e6e59-d524-4aea-acad-7cb852160506 Crash ID: bp-a8c2f4e7-fd9d-43fa-8741-22a092160506 Crash ID: bp-e442878e-4763-43ef-ad2b-1bf3e2160506
Note* Internet Explorer works fine, and this is the only machine in my building that I have this problem, so I'm sure there's something on the computer that's causing it to crash, but I'm hoping you guys can tell me the porblem because this is so frustrating.
Thanks

hi, unfortunately this crash may be caused by websense endpoint security software that is running on a device. please make sure that all its components are up-to-date. in case your computer is part of a managed enterprise environment, please get in contact with your it department about this issue again. more information is available in bug 1181091.
in a larger enterprise using the extended support release (esr) version of firefox, which receives security updates but feature updates only once every 10 months, might also be a better option compatibility-wise: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/faq/
Thanks so much for the response. I have a ton of computers on our network that use Firefox, and this is the only machine that I'm having this problem, and they all are going through the same Websense endpoint.
I'm using Firefox to send this message. I wonder if there's something on this computer (hardware driver) that's killing it. This is strange.
