Using Thunderbird 45.1.0 with Win 10 (updated) it is so slow. Why doesn't the English Australian dictionary work with this version? When emptying Spam or Bin it says not responding and takes minutes even for a couple of files. Is it possible to delete spam at the server?

The slowness also happened with Win 8.1 before upgrading to Win 10

What is your anti-virus software?

Why doesn't the English Australian dictionary work with this version?

Probably because it hasn't been updated to work with TB 45. Contact the dictionary author.
