Instead of "private mode", you could try "Clear history when Firefox closes" from "Privacy settings"

No problems did all that ...relogged back into Netflix same code again Think it is Netflix trying too stop people in Australia using VPN too log into American Netflix.. I am not using VPN just private mode. My comp is not keeping history or cookies it clears all the time on exit am not remembering history either.

Looks like I will have too put up with it. I tried loading Seamonkey on too use that for Netflix but it wants me too load Silverlight on which is already on. I am using Tracking Protection on. I will just have too turn off Privacy mode each time..

This only happened when I went up too Version 47 on Firefox was not a problem on previous versions of Firefox..

I have Seamonkey working for the Footy tipping .. but still not FF says connection not secure.. I am also running Private tabs on and I have Tracking Protection on.. If I turn off Private Browsing by the way for NETFLIX I can watch it ok.. It loads ok in Private but when I hit play I get the error message that I quoted in earlier posts.

Ok re FF is letting me load part of page but not all says unsecure. Still no Netflix in Private browsing followed all your tips and I thank you for all the help. And in Seamonkey Netflix works but it wants Silverlight. which is already installed on computer but it is not picking it up in Seamonkey says its is already installed on computer I would say it is Netflix making us use normal mode unless there is an update in 47 Preventing it playing as it loads ok but just wont play.

In both programs; Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Plugins. Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.

Go to the web page. Once the page is loading, mouse to the address bar and Left click the icon. Select Permissions. In the menu, Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.

This is Netflix response. because of ppl using VPN because I use private browsing I assume I am in the same basket as VPN users Thank you for all your help guess there is no way around this have too turn off Private Browsing or use another browser for Netflix.. They also said that they tell Microsoft what they want and it is done for them so am stopped . I use private browsing for safety as I do banking etc...

From Netflix Quote..::: Yes, my engineer team was able to provide me info, since there is some people that will use this option for using VPN and other related addons and extension, this is not a mode that's capable to stream through Netflix, it's something that this Firefox will not enable Silverlight to play on our site.
