The thunderbird lost the subdirectories of mail filters

more options

I created several mail filters, and each has one sub-directory. When one email comes, it will apply the correct filter and move the email to corresponding sub-directory. But somehow, all the sub-directories just lost, though the mails are all in "Inxbox" now, not missing, and filters also still there, just throw errors that the corresponding sub-directory does not exist every time I restart the thunderbird client. I've already tried remove the account and re-configure it, didn't work. Please help check it why and how to fix it.

You need to check if they have been subscribed to see otherwise they will not be shown. 'File' > 'Subscribe'

Make sure the subfolders are actually selected as subscribed and click on OK

So you are saying the sub folders are not showing in the Folder Pane. This would explain why the filters cannot work.

If this is an imap mail account, have you subscribed to see those Folders? Are they visible on the webmail account accessed via a browser?

Thanks for your quick response. And yes, the sub folders are not showing in the folder pance, it somehow disappeared. It's a imap mail account and the sub folders is still there via a browser access.

Anything that I can supplement?
