I need a User Agent String to make Firefox for Android be seen as Internet Explorer 11 / Operating System Windows 10 so I can download a driver for my Windows 10 PC so I can connect to the net.

Currently only my Android devices can connect to the net. The websites I connect to in order to get the drivers see my Android devices as Android and won't let me access the Windows Update files.

Hi

You should be able to find an add-on that can help with that. I recommend having a look at the Firefox for Android add-ons site.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

There was an add-on named Phony that made switching user agents easy, but I don't remember whether it had Internet Explorer as an option.

https://addons.mozilla.org/android/addon/phony/

It does list Microsoft IE

Also https://addons.mozilla.org/android/addon/custom-user-agent-string/

However even if you change the UA to appear as a certain IE version on certain Windows it does not mean it will work.
