Sometimes when I type a query in the address bar and hit enter nothing happens at all. This does not happen all the time but whenever it does, it is very frustrating.

What is your default search engine?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Does opening the link/query via Alt+Enter in a new tab work in such a case?

Sorry for the absence.

I started Firefox in safe mode and just managed to replicate this bug, It did not make a change. I just made a fresh install and it still occurs. I am at a loss.

Alt-Entering didn't make any diffirence either.
