Iam using Dell inspiron 1525 model. I love firefox and is my default browser. When ever I opens Firefox, the Fan of my system starts and system overheats and some times System gets shutdown due to over heating. When i closes the browser or stops using firefox, the system functions normally. Please help me in resolving the issue. Iam using Windows7, RAM3GB, 32Bit.And I am just using the downloaded Firefox 'as it is'-No addons,No Themes,......,nothing. Iam facing issue since one year, but day by day heating problem is increasing(May be due to updates or i dont know) Please help me with this.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
